The Digitization Of Industries: Between Reality And Challenges

Abstract
Abstract: The digital economy covers different concepts, dominations and technological and economic expressions encompassing: new technologies, new economy, telecommunications, interconnections, information and communication technologies, electronic commerce, and electronic economy. Indeed, the interaction of the two concepts of economy and digital designates the sector of economic activity relating to information and communication technologies including the production and sale of goods, services and digital content. The economy is moving towards an economy of services and use, also called economy of the functionality, including in the industrial sector where one tends towards the "servicialization" of the products. These realities change the value creation chains. This paper aims to summarize the main trends brought about by the digitization of goods and services.
