Uberisation: Commercial Model Or Socio-economic Phenomenon?

الملخص

Abstract Uberisation then designates a business model through which professionals and customers are put in contact directly or even instantly through the use of technology. This model has the advantage of being much cheaper for the customer compared to the classic model. The term refers to the use of computer platforms, such as mobile applications, to facilitate transactions between customers and providers of a service, often bypassing the role of planned companies. The model has operating costs different from those of a traditional company. This article aims to propose a synthetic definition of the term "Uberisation", in order to analyze its impacts and perspectives of the Algerian case.
