The Effect Of Oil Price Fluctuation On The Economic Growth By Taking Corruption As Intermediate Variable

Abstract

In this paper the aim is to investigate the effect of oil price fluctuation on the economic growth by taking corruption as intermediate variable, using macroeconomic data consisting of: crude oil prices, CPI, GDP in Algeria from 2000 till 2018. The research method used is structural equation modeling depending on PLS approach, and it results that the oil price fluctuation has an impact negative on corruption and positive on economic growth in Algeria, however the impact of corruption on economic growth is negative.
