الملخص
ملخص: تهدف الدراسة تبيان مدى مساهمة المشاكل البيئية السائدة في دول الساحل الإفريقي في تشجيع وتنامي ظاهرة الهجرة غير الشرعي لما لها من سلبيات على التنمية. إن للعوامل البيئية دور سلبي على أمن واستقرار منطقة الساحل، فهي تمس بأمنها الزراعي والغذائي، وتزيد من انتشار الأمراض والأوبئة مهددة أمنها الصحي، وتساهم في تنامي ظاهرة ومعدلات الفقر وتهديدها لأمنها الاقتصادي. Abstract : The study, attempts to demonstrate how environmental problems in the Sahel contribute to both the encouragement of illegal immigration as well as its growth because of its negative aspects on development. The study shows how environmental factors negatively affect the security and stability of the Sahel region, as it affects its agricultural and food and nutrition security resulting in a wide spread of diseases and epidemics. This is deemed as a direct threat to the health and economic security and, hence, the aggravation of poverty rates.
