The Algerian Journal of Political Sciences and International Relations is an international scientific peer-reviewed bi-annual journal. Its first edition appeared in 1984. Its aim is to develop academic researchers in the field of politics and international studies, through publishing high quality papers and studies. It also aims at presenting summaries of dissertations and theses, valuable books and new reports, as well as presenting proceedings of seminars, meetings and study days organised by the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Relations. Indeed, the Journal has the ambition to become a tool of communication and exchange of knowledge and expertise between researchers who belong to local and foreign academic institutions. It has also the ambition to become a means of promoting the work of laboratories and research centres which activate in Algeria and elsewhere. Furthermore, there is a need to promote political science, as an autonomous academic field through specific topics and objectives. Last but not least, the journal wishes to participate to the efforts made to enhance national scientific production in various domains and to adapt the university to its special, cultural and economic environment.
