الاقتصاد العالمي في مواجهة تحديات عولمة الأوبئة - جائحة كوفيد-19 نموذجا-

الملخص
يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة مدى مساهمة العولمة في انتشار الأوبئة عبر العالم بشكل عام، وجائحة كوفيد-19 بشكل خاص، بالإضافة إلى دراسة مدى تأثير جائحة كوفيد-19 على الاقتصاد العالمي، ومختلف الدروس المستفادة والتحديات القائمة في ظل هذه الجائحة. وقد تم التوصل إلى أن مقومات العولمة كازدياد حركة البشر والسلع عبر الحدود وزيادة ظاهرة التمدن وتغير المناخ والمضاربة على العملات، أدت إلى انتشار العديد من الأوبئة عبر العالم، كما أثرت جائحة كوفيد-19 على الاقتصاد العالمي وأدخلته في دائرة الركود حسب تقدير العديد من المؤسسات الدولية، حيث تعتبر قطاعات: التجارة الخارجية والسياحة الدولية والملاحة الجوية والأسواق المالية من بين أهم القطاعات المتضررة من الجائحة. في المقابل أسفرت هذه الجائحة عن جملة من الدروس – خاصة دور الدولة- ومجموعة من التحديات لابد من تداركها، كمخاطر الأمن الصحي وضعف نظم الإنذار المبكر للأوبئة وزيادة مستويات المديونية العالمية وتصاعد الاضطرابات الاجتماعية، الأمر الذي يستدعي ضرورة التعاون المحلي والإقليمي والدولي لاحتواء الجائحة وتفادي الأوبئة مستقبلا. Abstract: This research aims to study the contribution of globalization to the spread of epidemics throughout the world in general, and the Covid-19 pandemic in particular, with a study the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the global economy, and the various lessons learned and challenges that exist under the pandemic. It was concluded that the factors of globalization, such as an increase in the movement of the people and goods across borders, increasing of urbanization, the climate change, and the currency speculation, have led to the spread of epidemics globally. The Covid-19 pandemic also affected the global economy and brought it into the recession, according to the appreciation of many international institutions. Foreign trade, international tourism, air navigation and financial markets are among the sectors affected by the pandemic. On the other hand, the pandemic has resulted in a number of lessons - especially the role of the state - and a set of challenges that must be addressed, such as health security risks, weak early warning systems for epidemics, increased levels of global indebtedness, and escalating social unrest, which calls for the necessity of local, regional and international cooperation to contain the pandemic and avoid future epidemics.
