Les Pratiques Artisanales Locales Sous La Domination Romaine.cas D’étude: Les Pressoirs De Tifra à Tigzirt -algérie-

Résumé
Nous envisageons dans cette contribution de présenter un inventaire des monuments archéologiques à caractère agraire, inédits ou signalé auparavant, recensés au cours de nos diverses prospections situées à Tifra, près de Tigzirt, l’antique Iomnium (Tizi Ouzou, Algérie), qui a bénéficié d’une promotion municipale durant le troisième siècle. Tifra est connue pour la diversité des civilisations qui s’y sont installées, depuis la Préhistoire et durant toute l’Antiquité. La multiplication des installations agricoles, les pressoirs taillés dans le roc, nous renvoie selon toute vraisemblance, vers une arboriculture florissante. Par ailleurs, l’exploitation des diverses particularités pétrographiques des grés numidiens témoignent probablement de l’existence d’une artisanat agroalimentaire représentant un volet social non négligeable et basé sur un artisanat local avéré qui nous renvoie, in extenso vers une résistance sereine face à la domination romaine ainsi qu’une permanence et un attachement aux pratiques africaines In this paper, we intend to present an inventory of agrarian monuments, identified during our various field surveys, as well as unpublished remains or previously reported, all located in the village of Tifra, from Tigzirt (Tizi Ouzou, Algeria), and which benefited from municipal promotion during the third century A-D. Tifra, which was is known for the diversity of the civilizations that settled there since prehistoric times and throughout the ancient period. The diversity of monuments and agricultural settlements in the region, the presses cut in the rock, according to us, to the existence of an industrial zone and which in all likelihood refer to a flourishing shrub agriculture in the region. Moreover, the exploitation of the various petro graphic characteristics of these Numidian sandstones, reflect a local know-how as well as a long established experience. It is therefore a manufacturing food industry with a significant social component based on proven local African craftsmanship that sends us back reflecting a serene resistance to Roman rule and permanence, attachment to Africans practices.
