الملخص
نهدف من خلال هذا المقال إلى تسليط الضوء على الجانب العلمي ليوبا الثاني (50ق.م-23م)، حيث عرفنا ما لا يقل عن تسعة عناوين له، ما أعطاه لقب "الملك العالم " باستحقاق، وجعل بلوتارخوس (Plutarque) يُعده من ضمن أكبر علماء التاريخ، وأن شهرته كعالم تجاوزت شهرته كملك، غير أن الكثير من العلماء المختصين يتأسفون لفقدان تلك الأعمال، التي لم يبقى منها إلا شذرات موزعة في ثنايا أعمال الكتاب الإغريق و اللاتين، ويعد كتاب" ليبيكا" الذي دونه عن مسقط رأسه، ضمن تلك الأعمال التي افتقدناها، مع الرغبة الملحة التي تعترينا للإطلاع على محتواها، الأمر الذي دفعنا للعمل على جمع اكبر عدد من الشذرات المتعلقة به في كتاب التاريخ الطبيعي لبلينيوس الكبير، في محاولة منا إعادة تركيب محتواه . Throughout this article, we aim to shed light on the scientific aspect of Yuba II (50p. P.23), as we knew at least nine titles of his , which gave him the title "King of the World" with merit, and made Plutarch's consider him one of the greatest scholars of history, and his fame as a scientist exceeded his fame as a king, but many specialized scholars regret the loss of those works, whose only fragments are preserved in the works of Greek and Latin writers, and the book "Libyca", which he wrote about his hometown, is one of these works, that we lost with the urgent desire to see their contents... which prompted us to work to collect the greatest number of fragments related to them in the Book of Natural History of Pliny the Elder, in an attempt to reconfigure its contents
