Abstract
The mountains are an essential part of this nature, and our God said in the Holy Quran a expressive verses : << … And Allah has made for you of that which He has created shades, and has made for you places of refuge in the mountains … >> is that the mountains part of the balance of the Earth in the universe, and the mountain was occupied a central place in Maghreb architecture You mean the total that drafted the identity and unity of the country, it has been a bastion of demographic, cultural and economic resurgence and political matters, human relationship with the mountains are varied forms of expressing identity, stability, and reclamation, what distinguishes the mountains in the country ; So what is the role of mountain area in shaping identities in Arab Maghreb between past and present?
