الملخص
Abstract: Rousseau used the saying of the natural state, so he began to draw the characteristics of the the naturally good man, its real objective is to underline that the civil state was the reason for the dissolution of this natural charity. consequently, he argued that the reform should be mainly moral, especially since its principle is inherent in the soul, and it has not completely disappeared. this is expressed by the emotion of compassion as an innate principle. However, Kant began to use civil state as carrying positive elements that Rousseau was unaware of. and what Rousseau saw as corruption and dissolution, Kant saw as a necessary condition for the establishment of moral values. the possibility of committing the evil inherent in the soul is a condition for the possibility of any moral foundation, and that man cannot pass from the level of instinctive action to the level of moral action unless he can overcome the impulses of evil which he has acquired in the civil state. وظف روسو مقولة الحالة الطبيعية ليعرض من خلالها ملامح الإنسان الخير طبيعيا، غايته من وراء ذلك هي التأكيد على أن الحالة المدنية قد كانت هي السبب الحقيقي في انطماس تلك الخيرية، وتبعا لذلك يذهب إلى أن الإصلاح ينبغي أن يكون أخلاقيا بالدرجة الأولى خاصة وأن مبدأ ذلك الإصلاح كامن في النفس ولم يندثر بشكل كلي، وهو ما تعبر عنه عاطفة الشفقة كمبدأ فطري. غير أن كانط ينطلق من الحالة المدنية باعتبارها حاملة لعناصر إيجابية أغفلها روسو، فما كان يبدو لروسو فسادا وانحلالا، يرى فيه كانط شرطا ضروريا لتأسيس القيم الأخلاقية، فإمكانية اقتراف الشر الكامنة في النفس تعتبر شرطا لإمكانية أي تأسيس أخلاقي، وأن الإنسان لا يمكنه أن ينتقل من مستوى الفعل الغريزي إلى مستوى الفعل الأخلاقي ما لم يكن بإمكانه أن يتغلب على نوازع الشر التي اكتسبها في الحالة المدنية.
