ملخص: لكل علم وسائله وكلما ازداد العلم دقة تطلب وسائل أنجع لانجازه، والطب كأحد العلوم التجريبية تميزه مراحل أساسية تبدأ بالفحص والتشخيص وتنتهي بالعلاج عاديا كان أو جراحيا، وهي عمليا المهن الطبية التي يعرفها هذا المجال وما تتطلبه من أدوات وأجهزة لانجازها وإذا كان الأصل ألا يسأل الطبيب عن شفاء المريض فإنه يحصل أحيانا أن يكون الطبيب ملزما بالتزام محدد بسلامة المريض، لا من عواقب المرض بل من خطر حوادث قد تقع للمريض خارج العمل الطبي، لذلك تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد مفهوم الالتزام بضمان سلامة المريض مع بيان تطبيقاته العملية. Abstract: Every science has its own means, and the more exact the science, the more effective means are necessary for its accomplishment; and since medicine is an experimental science, it is characterized by fundamental process steps ranging from examination and diagnosis, up to treatment, whether normal or surgical. Practically, these are the medical professions known to the field with their instruments and devices needed for their implementation. If the principle is that the doctor is not responsible for the recovery of the patient, he is sometimes forced to make a commitment as to ensure the patient’s safety, not in relation to the consequences of the disease, but to accidents related risks that could eventually result from outside the medical act itself and that may affect the patient. The purpose of this study is therefore to define the notion of commitment to patient safety, and to present a statement of its practical aspects.
