الملخص

تتناول هذه الدراسة موضوع التعليم الجامعي وعلاقته بقضايا المجتمع، مركزة على أهمية تجديد مقاصده وفقًا لمتغيرات العصر ومتطلبات المجتمع، واعادة صياغة أهدافه وأدوراه والانتقال بها من وضعية تقليدية تختزل دوره في سد احتياجات سوق العمل الى وضعية تحمل مواصفات الجودة والحداثة من أجل تفعيل مؤسسات التعليم الجامعي في مختلف المجالات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والحضارية لما لذلك من عوائد مجتمعية، ولقد خلصت الدراسة الى ضرورة توثيق العلاقة بين الجامعة والمجتمع وخدمة قضاياه على ضوء هذه المقاصد الحديثة التي تمثل مرجعية أساسية لنظام التعليم الجامعي في عصر العولمة والمنافسة. The present study deals with the subject of higher education and its relationship with society issues, focusing on the importance of renewing its purposes according to the contemporary changes and the requirements of society, and reformulating its objectives and roles to move from a traditional position that reduces its role in responding to the needs of the labor market to a position of quality and modernity in order to make higher education institutions more effective in the economic, social and cultural fields in view of their societal returns. The study concluded that it is necessary to strengthen the relationship between the university and society and serve its issues in the light of these modern purposes, which represent a basic reference for the higher education system in the era of globalization and competition.
