The article deals with aspects of France's colonial policy in its legal aspect adopted by the Algerian people during the thirties of the twentieth century AD, mainly represented in its consecration of an arsenal of laws to justify its criminal acts against the national identity of the Algerian people, for its cultural distortion, and from there the French in all areas of life and its incorporation into Motherland France. And the most dangerous of these arbitrary laws that were imposed on Algerians are: Michel Circular 1933, René’s Decree 1935 and the Shatan Law 1938, which targeted the religious and cultural reform activity of Algeria’s reformers and scholars in general and the Arabic language in particular as it is the second basic component of national identity after Islam and as an element. Effective for the social cohesion of Algerians and the symbol of their national unity, and as the language of the Qur’an, which the enemy often kept fearful of its role in fueling revolutionary national consciousness, by employing it in the field of calling for jihad and revolution over the colonial presence in Algeria, so the enemy was determined to eliminate it, and the aforementioned laws were Part of his systematic plan to kill this language and achieve his goals in the field of French and integration. These laws left strong national reactions represented in the popular protests and demonstrations through which the Algerians expressed their adherence to their language and national culture as a whole, as both the reformist elite and the Association Algerian Muslim scholars, in turn, in the cultural resistance to these laws, defense and preservation of the national identity
