الفيلق الأوغسطي الثالث ودوره في توطيد اركان الاستيطان الروماني بالاوراس (81-161)م

الملخص
اتجهت السلطة الرومانية منذ توغلها في الأراضي النوميدية إلى تركيز اهتمامها بالجانب العسكري، وإنشاء جيش قوي يمكنها من تحقيق أهدافها وأطماعها في المنطقة، والفيلق الاوغسطي الثالث يعتبر عصب هذا الجيش،وأحد أهم الوسائل الدفاعية التي سخرتها هذه السلطة لتطويق المنطقة من جهة، وتأسيس التجمعات السكانية، والمراكز الحضرية مثل لمبازيس (Lambaesis) وتيمقاد (Thamugadi) وديانا فيتيرانوروم (زانة) (DianaVeteranorum) وكويكول (Cuicul) "جميلة" من جهة ثانية. وبعد توغلها بالمنطقة الأوراسية سنة 81م، ضاعفت هذه السلطة من قوته وهيمنته، وكانت تستهدف تطويق المنطقة وإخضاعها، وقمع جميع الثورات المناهضة للتواجد الروماني.ورغم استخدام كل الوسائل، فإن السلطة الرومانية لم تتمكن من تحقيق أهدافها، حيث أن النوميديين أرهقوا قوات الاحتلال، وواجهوها بكل حزم وعزم إلى غاية مجيء الو ندال والقضاء على التواجد الروماني سنة 430م. وعلى هذا الأساس نطرح الإشكال التالي: ما دور الفيلق الاوغسطي الثالث في توطيد أركان الاستيطان الروماني في منطقة الاوراس؟وإلى أي مدى ساهم هذا الفيلق في تحقيق أهداف الاستعمار الروماني في شمال إفريقيا Sinceits incursion into the Numidian lands, the Romanianauthority has tended to focus its attention on the military side, and to establish a strongarmythatenablesit to achieveits goals and ambitions in the région. The ThirdAugustanLegionis one of the most important defensemeans and the nerve of thisarmy, which the Roman authorityused to encircle the régionfrom the région, and establish population centers and centers Urban areas likeLambaesis, Timgad, Diana Veteranorum and Cuicul are beautiful on the other hand. Afterits incursion into the Aurasianrégion in the year 81 A.D., itdoubledits power and dominance,and the purposewas to encircle and subjugate the région, and to suppress all revolutionsagainst the Roman presence. This confirmsthat the Numidiansexhausted the occupation forces, and confronteditwithfirmness and determinationuntil the arrival of the Vandals and the elimination of the Roman presence in the year 430 A.D. On this basis, wepresent the followingproblem: Whatis the role of the thirdAugustanlégion in consolidating the pillars of the Roman settlement in the Aurèsrégion? And to whatextentdidhecontribute to achieving the goals of Roman colonialism in NorthAfrica ?
