تداعيات جائحة الكوفيد-19 على عمليات الاندماج والاستحواذ في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي

الملخص
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم عمليات الاندماج والاستحواذ في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي إثر انتشار فيروس كوفيد -19، وحالة الغلق التي مست مختلف دول العالم، بالإضافة إلى التطرق لأهم دوافع الاندماج والاستحواذ في منطقة الخليج العربي. وقد تم الاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي ومنهج دراسة الحالة، حيث تم تحليل وضع صفقات الاندماج والاستحواذ في دول المجموعة عقب انتشار الوباء. وفي الأخير، خلصت الدراسة إلى أن فيروس الكوفيد -19 أثر سلبا على نمو عمليات الاندماج والاستحواذ في المنطقة خاصة خلال النصف الأول من سنة 2020، لتشهد بعدها على غرار باقي دول العالم تعافي ملحوظ سنة 2021 وهي مرحلة ما بعد الجائحة. This study aims to evaluate mergers and acquisitions in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries following the spread of the Covid-19 virus, and the state of closure that affected various countries of the world, in addition to addressing the most important motives for mergers and acquisitions in the Arab Gulf region. The analytical descriptive approach and the case study method were relied upon, in which the status of merger and acquisition deals in the group’s countries following the spread of the epidemic was analyzed. Finally, the study concluded that the repercussions of the Covid-19 virus negatively affected the growth of mergers and acquisitions in the region, especially during the first half of 2020, after which it witnessed a remarkable recovery, like the rest of the world, in 2021, which is the post- pandemic stage.
