The Legal System Used For The Suspension Of Press Institutions Activity

Abstract
Suspending the activity of press organizations is contrary to the idea of freedom of the press and the media. It results in the dismissal of dozens of journalists. Legislation varies in procedures for disrupting such activity in normal or exceptional circumstances. This study attempts to present the legal procedures to be followed to issue a decision to suspend the activity of press institutions, and examples of several legislations that have regulated the issue will be referred to. ملخص: يعد تعطيل نشاط المؤسسات الصحفية إجراء يتعارض مع فكرة حرية الصحافة والإعلام. ويترتب عليه تسريح العشرات من العاملين في المجال الصحفي. وتتباين التشريعات القانونية في إجراءات تعطيل نشاط المؤسسات الصحفية في الظروف العادية أو الاستثنائية. وستعرض هذه الدراسة الإجراءات القانونية الواجب اتباعها لإصدار قرار تعليق نشاط المؤسسات الصحفية، حيث سيتم الإشارة إلى نماذج من عدة تشريعات قانونية نظمت هذه المسألة.
