سياسات الكبح المالي ودورات النمو الاقتصادي في الدول النامية: تقارب أم تباعد؟ دراسة حالة الجزائر والسعودية

الملخص
تهدف هذه الورقة إلى اختبار تزامن سياسة الكبح المالي ودروات النمو الاقتصادي في الجزائر والسعودية للفترة بين 1990-2021. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف يتم قياس وتحليل العلاقة المركبة الدورية لمؤشر الكبح المالي والدورات الاقتصادية وتحديد مسارها بالاعتماد على نمذجة توقيت تلك الدورات باستخدام طريقة (1971) Bry and Bouchan، وقياس حركتها الدورية المشتركة باستخدام تزامن الدورات. تظهر أهم النتائج أن سياسة الكبح المالي غير مرتبطة بدورات الأعمال في الجزائر. وبشكل أكثر تحديداً، نجد أن هذه السياسة غير متزامنة مع دورات النمو الاقتصادي. بينما تبدي سياسة الكبح المالي نوعاً من التزامن من عكس الاتجاه مع دورات النمو في حالة السعودية. Abstract: This paper aims to examine the synchronization of financial repression policy and economic growth cycles in Algeria and Saudi Arabia for the period 1990-2021. In order to achieve this goal, the cyclical compound relationship of the financial repression indicator and economic cycles is measured and analyzed. The path of these components is determined based on modeling the timing of those cycles using the Bry & Bouchan (1971) method. Besides measuring their joint periodic motion using synchronization of cycles. The main study results show that financial repression policy is not linked to business cycles in Algeria. More specifically, the study find that this policy is out of sync with economic growth cycles. While the policy of financial repression shows a kind of reverse direction synchronization in economic growth cycles in the case of Saudi Arabia.
