الملخص
جذبت الصحراء الجزائرية المستشرقون الأوروبيون عامة والفرنسيين على وجه الخصوص، سواء كانوا رحالة أو عسكريين أو أكاديميين، فأنكبوا عن الكتابة عنها، وفي مختلف المجالات سواء سكانها أو مسالكها أومناظرها، وحتى نسائها، وسنركز في مقالنا هذا على صورة المرأة الطرقية في الكتابات الفرنسية، اذ جذبت هذه المرأة أنظار الفرنسيين سواء من حيث مواصفاتها وزينتها ومكانتها في مجتمعها وحتى بعض الممارسات والانحرافات التي كانت تمارسها، والتي تميزها عن باقي نساء الجزائر، ومقارنتها في نفس الوقت بالمرأة العربية. The Algerian Sahara attracted European Orientalists in general and French in particular, whether travellers, military or academics, They have been writing about it, in various fields, whether its inhabitants, its paths, its views, and even its women. In this article, we will focus on the image of woman targuie in French writings, as this woman attracted the attention of the French both in terms of her specifications, decorations and status in her society and even some of the practices and deviations she was practicing, which distinguish her from the rest of Algeria's women, while comparing her to Arab women.
