أثر التنافسية السياحية في التنمية المستدامة لدول حوض المتوسط

الملخص
هدفت هذه الدراسة لتوضيح دور القطاع السياحي في تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة في دول حوض المتوسط، وقد تم تحليل المؤشرات الخاصة بكل من التنافسية السياحية والتنمية المستدامة لـ17 دولة متوسطية. باستعمال نموذج الانحدار الخطي البسيط تم التوصل لوجود علاقة ارتباط قوية موجبة بين متغيري الدراسة، أظهرت الدراسة أيضا أن مؤشرات القطاع السياحي لدول المتوسط مُعبرا عنها بمؤشر التنافسية السياحية تساهم بشكل إيجابي بمقدار تجاوز 54 بالمائة من التغير الحاصل في مستوى التنمية المستدامة للدول المعنية بالدراسة. This study aimed to clarify the role of the tourism sector in achieving sustainable development goals in the Mediterranean countries. For this purpose, we analyzed the indicators of both tourism competitiveness and sustainable development for 17 Mediterranean countries. By Using a simple linear regression model, it was found that there is a strong positive correlation between the study variables, The study also showed that the indicators of the tourism sector of the Mediterranean countries, expressed in the tourism competitiveness index, contribute positively by more than 54 percent of the change in the level of sustainable development for the countries concerned with the study.
