Cahiers de Traduction is a peer reviewed international journal on translation studies. It was officially launched in 1993 by the Institute of Translation, Algiers University, ALGERIA. it is a scientific and academic annual Journal, with an Editorial Board and Scientific Committee, issued regularly in June . Its major aim is to promote and strengthen scientific research in the domain of translation and translation studies, and covers related disciplines : literary translation, machine translation, economics and translation, linguistics and translation, legal text and translation, industry and translation, and the like. It has come as an aid to promote further academic research in the field of translation.

Résumé: Dieser Beitrag befasst sich mit der juristischen Übersetzung im Zeitenwandel und ihren Anforderungen an die Übersetzungsarbeit im Allgemeinen und das algerische Rechtssystem im Besonderen. Als erstes wurde die Definition der Übersetzung und ihres Prozesses nach Ansichten von Übersetzungsfachleuten festgelegt. Die juristische Übersetzung und das algerische Rechtssystem sowie die Veränderungen, die sich darauf ausgewirkt haben, sind ebenfalls Teil dieses Papiers. Darüber hinaus haben die Globalisierung und die fortschreitende Digitalisierung die berufliche Relevanz der Übersetzung durch neue Arbeitsmethoden wie Schnelligkeit und Dokumentationsmöglichkeiten über das Netz erhöht. Ziel dieses Beitrags ist es, die Herausforderungen der Globalisierung und die vorübergehenden Veränderungen der juristischen Übersetzung in den Vordergrund zu rücken, wobei das algerische Rechtssystem im Fokus steht.

الترجمة الأدبية قراءة في المصطلح والمفهوم

الملخص: قدمت الترجمة جهودا لا تعد ولا تحصى لمختلف العلوم والمعارف سيما في النقد الأدبي خاصة. ومازالت مصدر عطاء يستعان بها في فهم الأمم. فهي حقا مهمة صعبة جدا یقوم بها المترجم حين يحاول ترجمة نص ما، لیعید صياغته في قالب لغوي وثقافي غريب عن اللغة الأصل. تتميز الترجمة الأدبية بتعقيداتها الناتجة عندما تتعلق بترجمة نصوصٍ إبداعيةٍ مرتبطة بالمتخيل الشعري، وبالمكونات الثقافية التي ينتمي إليها النص الأصلي. ولهذا تظهر في كل الترجمات الأدبية بعض الإشكالات الفنية، والصعوبات الثقافية. نحاول في هذه الدراسة الإجابة عن الإشكالات التالية: ما هي الترجمة عامة والأدبية منها خاصة؟ هل وفقت هذه الأخيرة في الإبقاء على النص كما هو مع إثرائه شعرا كان أو نثرا؟ أم تخللته نقائص لم تستطع الترجمة إيصالها للقارئ؟ هل واجهتها صعوبات في صياغة المصطلحات النقدية؟ هل الترجمة أمينة في مهامها؟ أم أنها على حد تعبير الفرنسي جورج مونان ـ كـ "الخائنات الجميلات" "Les belles infideles" في خيانتها للنص الأصلي؟ هل يستطيع أيا كان أن يترجم نصا أدبيا دون ثقافة مسبقة؟ ما هي الشروط التي يجب أن تتوفر في المترجم الأدبي؟ كل هذه التساؤلات سنحاول بإذن الله الإجابة عنها في هذه الدراسة.

Covid-19, un facteur d'émergence d’un nouveau lexique des langues

Résumé: Depuis décembre 2019, le monde est confronté à cette crise sanitaire aiguë qui s’est rapidement propagée : le coronavirus. La pandémie n’a pas seulement affecté la santé et l’état psychologique des citoyens, mais aussi la langue, les langues. En effet, elle a entrainé l’éclosion de nouveaux termes, de nouvelles expressions, des réflexes comportementaux et langagiers inédits, et entraînant un besoin urgent et mondial de communiquer des informations de santé publique, bref une terminologie vite adaptée et instituée dans les mœurs des gens, dans les médias et évidemment dans les discours politiques. Dans cet article, nous analysons les modes de présence de la Covide 19 ainsi que ses incidences linguistiques dans cinq discours politiques qui appartiennent à trois langues différentes : l’arabe, l’anglais et le français.

Translating International Treaties: a Corpus-based Approach to Training Translation Students

Résumé: This paper sketches an outline of a corpus-based training on translating international treaties, devised by the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. While the study departs from a narrative account by the senior translators in charge of the training, it provides a robust narrative analysis grounded in the theoretical framework of Corpus Linguistics. The training was analyzed based on corpus trajectory, typology, approaches, and competences. The paper demonstrates the versatility of corpora in translation practice and training and showcased an interesting experience while shedding light on its limitations. The outline of the Training drawn by the study and its subsequent analysis provided valid insights into the usefulness of corpus methodologies in translating international treaties and defined the competences needed to produce a text that shares equal authenticity with the source text, i.e., the negotiated text of the treaty.

مظاهر الإبداع في الترجمة المتخصصة: ترجمة النص الاقتصادي من الفرنسية إلى العربية أنموذجا

الملخص: نسعى من خلال هذا البحث إلى إلقاء الضوء على ظاهرة الإبداع في الترجمة المتخصصة. حيث نحاولفي المقام الأول بيان أهمية الترجمة المتخصصة ومكانتها في عالم الترجمة اليوم، بعدما كانت لسنوات طويلة محطّ نظرة مجحفة في حقها. وفي المقام الثاني، نحاول تناول تعريف الإبداع، ونتوخى إزالة اللبس القائم بين مفهومي الإبداع والخيانة وصولا إلى البحث عن أهم مواطن الإبداع في ترجمة النصوص المتخصصة. Cet article a pour objet de mettre en évidence le phénomène de créativité en traduction spécialisée. En premier lieu, nous tentons de démontrer l’importance de la traduction spécialisée et la place qu’elle occupe dans le monde de la traduction d’aujourd’hui, après avoir fait, pendant de longues années, l’objet d’une vision méprisante et injuste à son égard. En second lieu, nous tentons de définir le phénomène de créativité, et de déceler les différences entre créativité et trahison en traduction. Nous tentons également de trouver les principaux axes de créativité dans la traduction des textes spécialisés.
