Abstract
Abstract: Energy sources are considered one of the most important economic resources that have an impact on making of comprehensive policies of producing and consuming countries, especially economic and security policies, as strategic resources help define the areas of thinking and planning for decision makers in status of cooperation, competition or even conflict. The world recognizes that Sudan is considered an area of international competition over strategic resources, especially for the major powers, which have turned its lands into battlefields and tension of varying severity. It seeks in various ways and uses everything it sees as a means to achieve its geoeconomic and geopolitical goals to enhance and maximize its power and control. Get as many energy sources and outlets as possible. Due to the vastness of the region and the large number of competing vital resources on the one hand, and the large number of competitors on different fronts on the other hand, the field of study was limited to Sudan as a case study, which shows the nature of geoeconomic competition and the reasons for the stagnation of development and development in it. تعتبر مصادر الطاقة من أهم المقدرات الاقتصادية تأثيرا على صنع السياسات الشاملة للدول المنتجة والمستهلكة، خاصة السياسات الاقتصادية والأمنية، فالموارد الطاقوية الاستراتيجية تعمل على تحديد مجلات التفكير والتخطيط أمام صناع القرارات في حالات التعاون والتنافس وحتى الصراع، وان العالم يعترف اليوم بان السودان تعتبر منطقة التنافس الدولي على الموارد الاستراتيجية، وخاصة من طرف الدول الكبرى، جعلت من اراضيها ساحات قتال وبؤر توتر متفاوتة الخطورة، تسعى بشتى الطرق وتستخدم كل ما ترى فيه وسيلة لتحقيق اهدافها الجيواقتصادية والجيوسياسية التي لتعزيز قوتها وتعظيمها، والسيطرة على اكبر قدر ممكن من مصادر ومنافذ الطاقة. ولشساعة المنطقة وكثرة المجالات الحيوية المتنافس عليها من جهة، وكثرة المتنافسون في جبهات مختلفة من جهة اخرى، تم حصر مجال الدراسة على السودان كدراسة حالة، التي تظهر طبيعة المنافسة الجيواقتصادية واسباب ركود التنمية والتطور فيها.
