Intellectual security, encompassing the protection of knowledge, innovation, and information, holds a pivotal role in modern societies. This article delves into the specific context of Algeria, examining the measures in place to safeguard intellectual assets and fortify knowledge ecosystems. With a focus on the legal framework, cybersecurity strategies, and academic and research domains, the study elucidates the challenges and vulnerabilities that threaten intellectual security in Algeria and offers pragmatic solutions. Within this research, the importance of intellectual security is underscored in a global context, laying the foundation for a comprehensive exploration. The definition and core components of intellectual security are clarified to provide a conceptual framework. A detailed analysis of Algeria's intellectual landscape reveals the historical underpinnings of intellectual property and knowledge management within the nation. Subsequent sections evaluate the legal and regulatory framework, emphasizing its role in protecting intellectual assets. Cybersecurity and information protection measures are scrutinized, with consideration of real-world cases illustrating the evolving threat landscape. Furthermore, the article investigates intellectual security within the realms of academia and research, striking a balance between intellectual property rights and the imperative of fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
