Digital Transformation Of Banking Sector: Open Banking And Fintech

Résumé
The combination of technology, regulation and changes in consumer behavior are profoundly changing the banking industry. Various aspects of the retail financial services industry are being transformed by various types of technology. A central theme is that regulation (PSD2 and Open Banking) and technological developments (FinTech, digitalization, Big Data, artificial intelligence algorithms) have come together in a way that has the potential to transform the banking industry. There is a two-way link between FinTech and the introduction of PSD2 and Open Banking: FinTech makes the goals of PSD2 and Open Banking. Overall, the study provides a first glimpse of how the retail banking industry will adapt to service innovations and increased collaboration with fintech third parties.
