Noam Chomsky‘s Critique Of Eco-imperialism

Authors : Boughambouz Mouhamed . Lamouri Chahida .

Abstract

It is well established that the American political scientist and philosopher Noam Chomsky is very interested in anti-Western. In the same line of thought, after his criticism of the media, democracy, terrorism and human rights, he is now attempting to shed light on the dark side of Western civilization and reveal the inhuman aspects committed by the major imperialist industrial countries against the environment; arguing that humanity is facing the threat of extinction due to the absence of ecological media awareness and the control of major institutions. Moreover, it is threatened by climate changes such as global warming, nuclear radiation and the loss of environmental wealth. However, this environmental awareness expressed by contemporary ecological tendencies remains incomplete because it addresses the issue only in terms of industrial damage, and perhaps the most prominent way to overcome this crisis is to sign the Green Deal and preserve its principles and thus enacting the principle of justice for the whole earth.
