Abstract

Algeria's border areas are among the sensitive issues that may pose significant threats to Algeria's national security. These include smuggling, organized crime, drugs, and terrorism. As a result, Algeria has implemented a set of preventive measures and a development plan that will serve as an impenetrable barrier to such threats, and this has been embodied in some border areas such as Oued Souf, where agricultural dynamism has resulted in an expansion of exploited agricultural lands and a great diversity in agricultural crops in recent years. This may be attributed to the first agricultural programs established by the country to develop the agricultural sector. And through this article, we will try to shed light on the most important development programs in the agricultural sector, and accordingly, the study sample included 120 female agricultural investors who were chosen randomly, distributed among five municipalities, as they occupy the first ranks in national production. The state's agricultural development plan has greatly contributed to the creation of jobs and the strengthening of the national economy through the use of various agricultural products. The study's recommendations are to work more toward the sustainability of agricultural development projects such as using modern agricultural irrigation systems, avoiding monoculture, as well as using fertilizers and agricultural pesticides more rationally, and estab-lishing specialized institutes for technical assistance for farmers. Finally, those frontier areas should be given special priority and development projects. are listed as such. The section titles given are for articles. Review papers and other article
