الملخص
This article deals with the position of Greek philosopher Plato of art and poets and their location in the project of his ideal city in line with his philosophical and cognitive principles, where he refused the simulation from a philosophical point of view, and on the basis of this rejection he excluded the poets from his city, and rejected them from an educational point of view, considering that the poet's imitation of reality is a tradition of copying any copy for a copy, the simulated work is a simulation of the apparent form and not the idea or "essence" that the poets are unable to reach them.
