الملخص
تسمح لنا دراسة الشخصيات التاريخية الغوص في الأحداث، وفهم مجریاتھا، ومن الشخصيات الجزائرية الفاعلة خلال الفترة العثمانية، الرايس حميدو الذي أعطى دفعا للبحرية الجزائرية في فترة بدأت بوادر التراجع تظهر عليها، وفي ظرف اشتدت فيه التحالفات الغربية على الجزائر. فإشكالية هذا المقال تطرح جوانب من سيرة الرايس حمیدو ببعديها الوطني والدولي، من خلال التعريف به، وكيفية وصوله إلى رتبة رايس، وحقيقة ثروته، وجهوده الجهادية، وظروف استشهاده. وما يمكن استنتاجه خلال دراسة هذه الشخصية هو أن مصادرها متعددة، خاصة الوثائق الأرشيفية مثل رصيد المحاكم الشرعية، ومخلفات التركات وكذلك يمكن فهم وتحديد ظروف الجزائر خلال هذه الفترة محليا ودوليا، وأخيرا تسجيل أهم العبر المستخلصة.The study of historical figures allows us to dive into historical events and understand their course. One of the prominent Algerian historical figures in the Ottoman period is Raїs Hamido, who gave impetus to the Algerian navy at a period when signs of retreat began to appear on it, and in circumstances in which Western alliances united against Algeria. The problematic this article presents is aspects of the biography of Raїs Hamido in its national and international dimensions; by introducing him, how he reached the rank of Raїs, the reality of his wealth, jihad efforts, and the circumstances of his martyrdom. What can be concluded from the study of this figure is that its sources are multiple, especially archival documents such as funds of ‘Al-mahakem Al shariiya’ and the remnants of his inheritance, as well as the understanding and identification of the Algerian circumstances for this period locally and internationally, and finally recording the most important lessons learned.
