البروسبوغرافيا: ماهيتها وأهميتها في البحث التاريخي Prosopography: Its Definition And Importance In Historical Research

الملخص
تعتبر البروسبوغرافيا مقاربة هامة لدراسة التاريخ -خاصة تاريخ النخب- لما تختزله من معلومات ثمينة في ثنايا البيوغرافيات التي تحتويها، فهي تنبني على رصد الخصائص المشتركة لمجموعة من الأفراد الفاعلين في التاريخ، أين تكتسب بياناتهم الفردية قيمة ومعنى إذا تم تأطيرها في سياق جماعي، وقد حظيت البروسبوغرافيا باهتمام كبير من قبل العديد من الباحثين في شتى مجالات التاريخ بفتراته المختلفة (العصر القديم، الوسيط، الحديث والمعاصر)، لكنها لا تزال محدودة الاستعمال في بعض البلدان العربية ومجهولة في بعضها الآخر، رغم الرواج الذي شهدته في معظم البلدان الغربية، منذ النصف الثاني من القرن العشرين. وبالتالي تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على مفهوم البروسبوغرافيا، من خلال التطرق إلى تعريفها والتعريج على نشأتها ومراحل تطورها، وكذا خطوات إجرائها، بالإضافة إلى الوقوف على أهميتها وحدودها في البحث التاريخي، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى التأكيد على أهمية البروسبوغرافيا في مختلف ميادين التاريخ (التاريخ السياسي، الاجتماعي، الاقتصادي، وغيرها)، بل إنها تستجيب أيضا لاحتياجات الباحث في مختلف فروع العلوم الإنسانية والاجتماعية (الأنثروبولوجيا، علم الاجتماع، علم النفس والعلوم السياسية، ... إلخ)؛ إلا أن فاعليتها تتوقف على مجموعة من العوامل التي يجب التحقق منها قبل توظيفها Abstract: Prospography is an important approach to the study of history, especially the history of elites, this is due to the valuable information it contains in biographics. It is based on observing the basic characteristics of a group of active individuals in history, where does their individual information gain value and meaning if placed in a collective context. It has received great attention from many researchers in various fields of history in its different periods (ancient era, medium, modern and contemporary). However, it is still limited in use in some Arab countries and unknown in others, despite the popularity that it witnessed in most Western countries, since the second half of the twentieth century. Thus, this study aims to shed light on the concept of prospography, by addressing the definition of it and explaining its origin and stages of development, the steps for its implementation, In addition its importance and limits in historical research. The study concluded to emphasize the importance of prosporography in various fields of history (political history, social, economic,etc), but it also responds to the needs of the researcher in various branches of the humanities and social sciences (anthropology, sociology, psychology and political science, etc). However, its effectiveness depends on a number of factors that must be checked before employing it
