الملخص
الملخص: المدن وكما عرّفها ابن خلدون هو قرار يتخذه الأمم عند حصول الغاية المطلوبة من الترف ودواعيه. فتؤثر الدعّة والسّكون وتتوجه إلى اتخاذ المنازل للقرار، ولما كان ذلك القرار والمأوى وجب أن يراعي فيه دفع المضارّ بالحماية من طوارقها وجلب المنافع وتسهيل المرافق لها. فأما الحماية من المضار، فيراعى لها أن يدار على منازلها جميعا سياجا الأسوار وأن يكون وضع ذلك في متمنع من الأمكنة إمّا على هضبة متوعّرة من الجبل، وإمّا باستدارة بحر أو نهر بها. حتى لا يوصل إليها إلا بعد العبور على جسر أو قنطرة فيصعب منالها على العدوّ ويتضاعف امتناعها وحصنها. والمدن عبر التاريخ هو ذلك الكيان المعماري الأثري المتجانس أو المتمايز المستقل أو المتكامل ضمن حدود متعارف عليها أو داخل أسوار تحيط بها. Abstract: Cities, as defined by Ibn Khaldun, is a decision that nations take when the desired end of luxury and its motives are achieved. So supplication and stillness prefer to take the houses for the decision, and since that decision and shelter, it must be taken into account in it to pay the harmful by protecting from its Tuareg, bringing benefits and facilitating the facilities for it. As for protection from harm, it should be taken into account that all of their homes are fenced with walls, and that this is placed in a prohibited place, either on a bumpy hill of the mountain, or by turning around a sea or river. So that it is not reached until after crossing over a bridge or bridge, so it is difficult for the enemy to reach it, and its abstention and fortification doubles. Cities throughout history are that archaeological entity that is homogeneous or distinct, independent or integrated within customary borders or within the walls surrounding them.
