الملخص

جاءت كتابة هذه الورقة لتدرس وتنقد المصادر التاريخية العربية التي تناولت أخبار الأوراس في أواخر الفترة البيزنطية وبداية الفتح الإسلامي، والتي سنعكف على إحصائها ومن ثمة تحليلها ونقدها لكي يتسنى لنا الخروج بمجموعة من الملاحظات والنتائج حول الوضع العام للوجود البيزنطي في إقليم الأوراس بالمغرب الإسلامي. والأكيد أن دراسة هذا الموضوع لا يطرح إشكالية واحدة بل سيطرح إشكالات متعددة فالإشارات التي ذكرتها المصادر العربية في أواخر الفترة البيزنطية عن جبل أوراس، ستمكننا كمقدمة من إعادة بناء وتركيب تاريخ حواضره ومعالمه الأثرية والتاريخية. خاصة وأن نسبة كبيرة لا تزال مجهولة الهوية ولم تحض بالدراسة التاريخية والأثرية على غرار ما حظيت به نظيرتها في المشرق الإسلامي. Abstract: This paper will examine and criticize Arab historical sources that addressed al-Ūrās news in the late Byzantine period. which we will analyse so that we can reach a series of observations and conclusions on the general situation of the Byzantine presence in the Awrās region of al-Maghrib al-Islāmī.The study of this topic certainly does not pose a single problem, but it will raise many questions.The references made by Arab sources in the Byzantine era to Mount Awrās are a prelude through which we will be able to rebuild and install the history of its cities and archaeological and historical monuments, especially since a large proportion of them remain unidentified and have received no attention as they did in the Mashriq al-Islāmī.
