الملخص
ملخص : تتناول هذه الورقة البحثية دور التحليل الكمي في تطوير علم الإدارة،فقد أكد الكثير من رواد الفكر الإداري على أن التحليل الكيفي لعملية التخطيط و وظائف الإدارة الأخرى سيبقى محدودا ونسبيا إذا لم ترافقه أنظمة منطقية للعلاقات في شكل رموز وبيانات إحصائية ورياضية تعبر عن الدقة في رسم السياسات العامة للحكومات، وفي هذا الاتجاه الكمي للإدارة، الذي برز في أربعينيات القرن العشرين، كان لنظرية بحوث العمليات دور في بناء النماذج الرياضية لحل المشكلات الإدارية . Abstract: This research paper deals with the role of quantitative analysis in developing the science of management. Many management thought pioneers emphasized that the qualitative analysis of the planning process and other management functions will remain limited and relative if it is not accompanied by logical systems of relations in the form of symbols and statistical and mathematical data that express accuracy in policy-making General governments, and in this quantitative trend of management, which emerged in the 1940's, operations research theory had a role in building mathematical models for solving administrative problems.
