الملخص
إن الاحتلال الفرنسي لتلمسان سنة1842م، جعلها تتعرض إلى عدة تغيرات عمرانية وتحولات سكانية وفكرية، ومن ذلك إنشاء مدرسة تلمسان العليا سنة 1850، وجلب المستشرقين إليها لتأطير أبناء المدينة، وكان هذا عاملا مهما مكن هؤلاء المستشرقين من معرفة الشعائر الدينية والجوانب العقائدية لدى "مسلمي" تلمسان، وكان من المهتمين بحياتهم الباحث "ألفراد بيل"، الذي نقل عنهم تفاصيل ومعلومات دقيقة في مؤلفه الموسوم ب "السكان المسلمون بتلمسان". وبالإضافة إلى الجوانب المذكورة التي ستكشفها هذه الدراسة في تلك الفترة المهمة من تاريخ الجزائر، فإننا سنتطرق فيها أيضا إلى طريقة اندماج المستشرقين مع أعيان ووجهاء المدينة، لكسب ودهم وثقتهم بغية الاطلاع على كيفية تسييرهم وإدارتهم بهدف السيطرة عليهم، فكان الطريق الأمثل لذلك، هو التعرف على خصوصياتهم وممارساتهم المختلفة، وما تعلق بها من عادات وتقاليد وأهم الطرق الصوفية المنتشرة بينهم. كلمات مفتاحية:ألفراد بيل، تلمسان، العادات، الطقوس، الأعياد الدينية. The French occupation of Tlemcen in 1842 exposed it to several urban changes, and demographic and intellectual transformations among which the establishment of the High School of Tlemcen in 1850, and bringing orientalists to supervise its students. That was an important factor that enabled them to understand the religious rituals and ideological aspects of the‘‘Muslims’’ of Tlemcen. Amongst these orientalists, Alfred Bel who was interested in their lives and he transmitted important details and accurate information about them in his book ‘‘The Muslim Population of Tlemcen’’. In addition to the previously mentioned aspects that will be revealed in this study, we will also discuss the integration of orientalists in the society, particularly with the notables of the city, to gain their trust in order to see how they run in order to control them. Therefore, the best way to do so was to know their features and various behaviours particularly what was related to their customs and traditions and the important Sufi brotherhoods.
