الملخص

ملخص: تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى مراجعة أبرز المساهمات النظرية التي تناولت بشكل نقدي موضوع التحول الديمقراطي، وتناقش أهم المقاربات النظرية التي سعت إلى بناء نموذج نظري لتحقيق القبضة الحتمية على احتملات التحول الديمقراطي. لذلك، تحاول هذه الدراسة التحقيق في مدى حاجتنا إلى عقل نقدي وتعددي للكشف عن إمكانات التحول الديمقراطي كمجال بحثي لإنتاج أدوات مفاهيمية تكاملية، والابتعاد عن المنظور الإقصائي الذي يفترض شكلاً واحدًا من التحول الديمقراطي. اهتمامي النظري بهذه الدراسة منهجي بحت يهدف إلى معرفة الاحتمالات النظرية والحدود التي تمكننا من فهم معقول للتحول الديمقراطي، ومدى قدرتنا على استيعاب هذا الفهم الذي يساعدنا على فصل العوامل التفسيرية عن النتائج المراد تفسيرها. Abstract: This study seeks to review the most outstanding theoretical contributions that have critically addressed the subject of democratic transition, and discusses the most important theoretical approaches that have sought to build a theoretical model to achieve the inevitable grip on the prospects for democratic transition. Therefore, this study tries to investigate the extent to which we are in need for critical and pluralistic mind to reveal the potentials of democratic transition as a research field to produce integrative conceptual tools, and to move away from the exclusionary perspective that assumes one form of the democratic transition. My theoretical interest in this study is purely systematic that aims at knowing the theoretical possibilities and limits that enable a reasonable understanding of democratic transition, and the extent to which we are able to grasp that understanding which helps us to separate the explanatory factors from the results to be later interpreted.
