L'activité Traduisante Face à L'inimitabilité De La Rhétorique Coranique

Résumé
La traduction du sacré fait souvent face aux limites des stratégies de la traduction. En effet, cette tâche est rendue ardue par les connotations et les symboliques dont est investi le texte religieux. Un cas d’espèce est constaté lors de la traduction du Coran et les essais de son interprétation, notamment au niveau de l’inimitabilité du style et de la rhétorique coranique. L’inimitabilité du Coran se décline à trois niveaux, en l’occurrence linguistique, thématique et stylistique. Ainsi, la difficulté de la traduction coranique réside dans le fait que même si celle-ci marque des points de fidélités, elle ne peut être l’équivalent parfait de la parole divine transcendantale mais en même temps matérialisée dans une langue humaine. Aussi, cet article se veut une réflexion sur le défi de la traduction face à l’inimitabilité plurielle du Coran et sur la nécessité de faire le deuil de l’équivalence parfaite pour que s’opère la négociation en activité traduisante. The translation of the sacred often faces the limitations of translation strategies. Indeed, this task is made difficult by the connotations and symbolism invested in the religious text. A case in point is found in the translation of the Qur'an and attempts at its interpretation, particularly in the inimitability of Quranic style and rhetoric. The inimitability of the Qur'an can be seen at three levels, namely linguistic, thematic and stylistic. Thus, the difficulty of Quranic translation lies in the fact that even if it scores points of fidelity, it cannot be the perfect equivalent of the transcendental divine word but at the same time materialized in a human language. Therefore, this article is a reflection on the challenge of translation in the face of the plural inimitability of the Qur'an and on the need to mourn the perfect equivalence in order to negotiate in translating activity.
