الملخص
تقدم هذه الورقة البحثية عوامل التدهور البيئي في منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط وأثارها موضحة العوامل الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والأمنية، على غرار ارتفاع معدل النمو الديمغرافي في المنطقة مما يجعلها أكثر ديناميكية، فضلا عن طغيان الأنماط التقليدية للتنمية وغياب الأنماط الرشيدة لاستغلال الموارد الطبيعية، بالإضافة إلى الحروب كأحد أهم العوامل المؤدية للعديد من المشكلات البيئية في منطقة المتوسط، خاصة في ظل تزايدها في المنطقة. تطرح هذه الدراسة مجمل الآثار البيئية الناجمة عن تلك العوامل السابقة الذكر، أين أصبح النظام البيئي للبحر الأبيض المتوسط من أكثر النظم البيئية المهددة في العالم بمجموعة معقدة من مشكلات التربة والماء والهواء، إذ تخلق هذه المشكلات البيئية أوضاع اقتصادية واجتماعية وصحية وأمنية تحول دون تحقيق التنمية المستدامة في المنطقة. Abstract : This paper presents the factors which causes environmental problems in the Mediterranean region demonstrating social, economic and security factors like the increase in rate of population in the region which makes it much more dynamic in addition to the domination of traditional patterns for development and the absence of good ones, for exploiting human resources as well as wars which is one of the important factors that lead to many environmental problems specially because of its increase in the region. This study poses all the environmental effects due to the aforementioned factors where it is noticed that the ecosystem of the Mediterranean region becomes one of the most threatened ecosystems in the world by a group of problems in the soil , air and water .these environmental problems creates social, economic, healthy and security conditions prevent sustainable development in the region.
