الملخص
تهدف هذه المقالة إلى توضيح الدور الحقيقي للجامعة في الوقت الراهن، فهناك من ينظر للجامعة اليوم على أنَّها مدرسة للتعليم العالي يمارس فيها التعليم بواسطة التلقين ما يجعلها تفرز إطارات ضعيفة غير قادرة على إجراء أي تغيير جذري في البنية التحتية للمجتمع إذا بقيت متقوقعة في حرمها بعيدة عن متطلبات مجتمعها، ما يجعلها غير قادرة على أداء دورها الأساسي ألاَّ وهو خلق منتج جامعي (طالب متخرج) دوافعه نابعة من تقبله للتغيير، يكون مؤثراً على كفاءة وفاعلية من يتعامل معهم، محفزاً ودافعاً نحو جودة ما يعمل، محققاً للتكامل ومعززاً للإبداع والابتكار وصولاً إلى التميز في الأداء العملي والرقي المجتمعي. ونظراً لذلك حاولنا في بحثنا هذا توضيح مفهوم الجامعة ومفهوم التعليم العالي الجامعي، إضافة إلى مبادئ ووظائف الجامعة في بلادنا مع حتمية مواكبة الجامعة لعصر المعرفة باعتبارها منظومة لاكتساب المعرفة، مع التركيز على الاستثمار في التعليم العالي كمدخل لخلق مجتمع المعرفة وإظهار دور الجامعات في ترقية وتطوير المجتمات مع إبراز ما يجب على الجامعات لخدمة المجتمعات. In view of this we have tried in our research this explain the concept of university and the concept of the Higher Education, In addition to principles and functions the university in our country with the inevitability keep pace of the university the era of knowledge as a system to gain knowledge, With a focus on investment in higher education as an entry point to create a knowledge society And demonstrate the role of universities in progress and Develop Communities With Show what should at the universities to serve communities.
