الملخص
This papers highlights the new themes in the trend of modern poems through the experience of one of the famous Omani poets and through the kinds of distinguish in the modern poems. This poet is “Saif Al Rahbi” who is concerned to be one of the biggest names in the Arabic world. I think the concept of using identity in the poetic text is new in presenting it because Saif Al Rahbi has qualitative and quantitative presence in the Arabic poems. In addition, his poem creates an important question in the shapes of identity. Identity means, here, the interaction between poets, their environments, their histories, and their cultures as well. From this base, this paper will try to analyze these themes from the texts where they were found in. In addition, this analysis will be away from the external factors and away from general interpretation. Saif Al Rahbi’s experience succeeded in changing the concepts that creates identity. Folklore songs, traditional dances, games, crafts, names of places, mountains are all symbols which interact effectively in his poetic texts. Moreover, this paper is analytic which aims to show the themes of the text that shapes identity and heritage and to show the magnificence of creativity in this poetic texts.
