قبيلة بني مسَّارة وثورة بوحمارة

الملخص
يتناول هذا المقال إسهام قبيلة بني مسَّارة الجبلية بشمال المغرب في وضع حد لثورة الجيلالي الزرهوني المعروف بلقب «بوحمارة» سنة 1909، وهي الثورة التي دامت سبع سنوات كاملة (1902-1909)، أنهكت الجيش المغربي وكبدت خزينة الدولة خسائر مالية كبيرة. وبالرغم من هذا الحدث العسكري الحاسم، فإن قبيلة بني مسَّارة لم تلق العناية اللازمة من قبل المؤرخين والباحثين عموماً، بحيث لم ينصفوها ولم يُدوِّنوا أخبارها كقبيلةٍ مُقاوِمةٍ للمتمردين. ووعياً بهذا المجهود العسكري المعتبر الذي قدَّمته القبيلة المسَّارية دفاعاً عن الوطن، ووفاء لأرواح الـمسَّاريين الذين قاوموا الـمتمرد بوحمارة ووضعوا حدًّا لثورته، يُسعدنا أن نسهم بهذا المقال تذكيراً للأجيال الجديدة من أبناء منطقة جبالة عموماً بتضحيات أسلافهم الأبطال في الدفاع عن حوزة البلاد ضد كل الحركات الهدَّامة والدعاوي الزائفة التي استهدفت أمنها واستقرارها. وقد اعتمدنا في إنجاز هذا المقال على جملة من المصادر والمراجع والوثائق المتصلة بالفترة المدروسة، فضلاً عن الرواية الشفهية التي أفادتنا كثيراً في استجلاء كثير من المعطيات التاريخية، وتصحيح بعض الوقائع والأحداث التي واكبت عملية القبض على الثائر بوحمارة بالقبيلة المذكورة. Beni Messara and the Rebellion of Buhmara This article attempts to highlight the contribution of the mountainous tribe of Beni Messara, situated in northern Morocco, to put an end to the 1906-1909 rebellion of al-Jillai Zerhouni known as ‘Buhmara’. This rebellion, which lasted for seven years (1902-1909), exhausted the Moroccan army and inflicted heavy financiallosses on the State treasury. Despite this historic military event, the Beni Messara tribe has been less studied by historians and researchers in general. So, being aware of this remarkable military effort by the Beni Messara tribe in defense of the unity of Morocco as well as paying homage to the lives of the Messari fighters, I am going to remind the current generation of Beni Messara of the huge sacrifices and heroic struggles of their ancestors against all subversive movements and false claims that targeted Morocco’s security and stability. In fact, in this article, I have relied on a number of sources and documents related to the period under study, as well as the oral narrative that has helped me clarify many of the historical facts and correct some of the facts and events that accompanied the arrest of the rebel ‘Buhmara’ in the aforementioned tribe.
