الملخص
تعالج هذه الدراسة الدور التي تلعبه خطوط نقل الطاقة في تشكيل التحالفات الإقليمية في شرق المتوسط، حيث تعتبر مسارات نقل الغاز في شرق البحر الأبيض المتوسط قضية جيوسياسية كبرى، بسبب سلسلة من اكتشافات الغاز في المياه البحرية لإسرائيل، قبرص ومصر منذ 2010، وذلك من خلال دراسة تأثير مشاريع خطوط نقل الطاقة في علاقات التعاون والأمن في المنطقة. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن استغلال إمكانات الغاز وإمدادات نقل الطاقة سيساهم في تقليل حدة الصراعات، كما ستعزز ليس فقط التعاون الإقليمي في مجال الطاقة، ولكن أيضًا تعزيز الاستقرار السياسي، وذلك بإعادة تشكيل التحالفات الاقليمية والخريطة الجيو-سياسية. Abstract: This study addresses the role that energy transmission lines play in forming regional alliances in the Eastern Mediterranean, as gas transportation routes in the Eastern Mediterranean are considered a major geopolitical issue, due to a series of gas discoveries in the offshore waters of Israel, Cyprus and Egypt since 2010, through a study The impact of energy transmission line projects on cooperation and security relations in the region. The study concluded that exploiting the potential of gas and energy transportation supplies will contribute to reducing the intensity of conflicts, and will enhance not only regional cooperation in the field of energy, but also enhance political stability, by reshaping regional alliances and the geopolitical map.
