الملخص

تناولت هذه الدراسة تأثير اكتشافات حقول الغاز في شرق البحر الأبيض المتوسط على معادلة التوازن الاقليمي والاستراتيجي في هذه المنطقة. كان الهدف من تناول هذا الموضوع إبراز الأهمية الجيواستراتيجية والاقتصادية لمنطقة شرق المتوسط، ومن تم تحليل أهم التغيرات الُبنيوية التي مسّت الخريطة الجيوسياسية بعد بروز لاعبين إقليمين ودوليين في إطار المنافسة على موارد الطاقة وبسط النفود وادراك المصالح المشتركة في شرق المتوسط، وبعد عمليتي الوصف والتحليل، توصلت هذه الدراسة إلى نتيجة أساسية مفادها أن منطقة شرق المتوسط تشهد صراعات إقليمية ذات أبعاد تاريخية ساهم اكتشاف الغاز في احيائها من جديد، وهو ما أدّى إلى بروز معادلات توازن جديدة سواءً على المستوى الإقليمي أو الاستراتيجي This study dealt with the impact of gas discoveries in the eastern Mediterranean on the regional and strategic balance equation in this region. The aim of addressing this topic was to highlight the geostrategic and economic importance of the eastern Mediterranean region, and from the analysis of the most important structural changes that affected the geopolitical map after the emergence of regional and international players in the context of competition for energy resources, the spread of influence and the realization of common interests in the eastern Mediterranean, After the description and analysis, this study reached a basic conclusion that the eastern Mediterranean is witnessing regional conflicts of historical dimensions, which the discovery of gas contributed to reviving, which led to the emergence of new equilibrium equations, whether at the regional or strategic level.
