الملخص

This study aims to illustrate the role of the syndicate’s activity in the educational & instructional establishments with its three levels, in the realization of job satisfaction of teachers, and to identify the mechanisms upon which the teachers' union depends to improve the material and moral conditions of teachers (CNAPEST as a case). The study found that the goal of the involvement of teachers in the establishment’s trade union is to achieve material and moral interests, the more the union defended this, the more positively it would affect their job satisfaction. And that the Teachers' Union had achieved professional gains through various means such as strikes, negotiations, conciliation and arbitration. The professors seek through their membership to the union to achieve the need to belong to the group which is necessary in each organization, because it has an impact on the behavior of individuals belonging to them.
