الملخص

اهتمت الدراسة بمضمون مجلة الفاروق 1920- 1921م الإصلاحية لتحديد الأساليب التي وظفتها في خطابها الصحافي لمواجهة مشروع فرنسة الجزائر، وقد انتهجت فرنسا من بداية احتلالها سياسة معادية للهوية العربية والإسلامية للجزائريين، فقامت بغلق المدارس وسلب أموال الوقف التي تدعمها، ومضايقة المعلمين وتغريمهم، واعتبرت اللغة العربية لغة أجنبية ووضعت بموجب هذا القانون الصحف الإصلاحية الصادرة باللغة العربية تحت الرقابة الشديدة، وقامت بتعطيل ومصادرة الكثير منها بسبب خطابها الرافض لسياستها، وقد عايشت المجلة ومؤسسها هذا الواقع ووظفت للتعامل معه –كما بيّن البحث- أساليب شتى عبرت عن مشكلاته، وقدمت نموذجا فكريا واعيا للنخبة الجزائرية إبان فترة الاحتلال. The study focused on the content of the reformist Al-Farouq magazine (1920-1921 AD) to determine the methods that been employed in its discourse to confront the project of French Algeria. The French government, after Algeria officially annexed to it in 1834 AD, adopted a policy hostile to the Arabic and Islamic identity of the Algerians. It closed schools, robbed the endowment funds that supported them, harassed and fined teachers, The Arabic language was considered a foreign language, and under this law, reformist newspapers issued in the Arabic language were placed under severe censorship, and many of them were suspended and confiscated due to their rejection of French policy. The magazine and its founder experienced this reality and employed various methods to deal with it - as the research showed - that expressed its problems, and provided a conscious intellectual model for the Algerian elite during the occupation period.
