La Motivation Onomastique à L’épreuve De La Traduction. Le Cas Du Roman Dibien : Comme Un Bruit D’abeilles

Résumé: Cette recherche a pour objet l’étude comparative du roman algérien d’expression française « Comme un bruit d’abeilles» (2001) de Mohammed Dib et sa traduction arabe de Diala Taouk )2007(. Il s’avère à première vue, que c’est un roman parsemé d’un système onomastique foisonnant et multilingue à forte charge culturelle. A cet égard, cette particularité soulève la problématique du devenir de l’onomastique en traduction littéraire. Autrement dit, Faut-il inscrire ou escamoter la motivation onomastique? Pour mettre en lumière cette question, nous nous référons particulièrement aux recherches de Michel Ballard (2001, 2005) dont le nom est indissociable de l’approche onomastique en traduction, afin de repérer les modalités traductives correspondantes à deux tendances contrastives : l’exotisation et la naturalisation. Abstract : This paper is a comparative study of an Algerian novel “Comme un bruit d’abeilles” (2001) written in French by Mohammed Dib (1920-2003) and its translation in Arabic by Diala Taouk (2007). It mainly sheds light on how the novel is sprinkled with an abundant and multilingual onomastic system with a strong cultural load. In this context, this particularity raises the issue of the future of onomastics in literary translation and whether we should register or hide the onomastic motivation. To investigate this matter and to answer the problematic, we should rely in particular on the research of Michel Ballard (2001, 2005), whose name is affiliated with the onomastic approach in translation. Ballard’s theoretical concepts will allow to identify the foremost options that are related to the two contrasting strategies of exoticization and naturalization.
