ملخص: يعتبر محب الدين الخطيب من كبار المفكرين والكتّاب العرب والمسلمين الذين اهتموا بقضاياهم منها: مسألة استقلال باكستان عن الهند التي أعطاها اهتماما كبيرًا في كتاباته، حيث جاهد بقلمه أولاً من أجل استقلال الهند ثم تحوّل إلى الدعوة إلى إقامة دولة باكستان لمسلمي شبه القارة الهندية نتيجة المجازر الرهيبة التي ارتكبها الهندوس في حق المسلمين واعتدائهم على مقدّساتهم وتوجه المهاتما غاندي وحزب المؤتمر الهندي توجهات هندوسية، حيث حذا حذو الرابطة الإسلامية وزعيمها محمد علي جناح، وهو الدفاع عن حقوق الإسلام والمسلمين في الهند والمطالبة بإقامة دولة لهم ألا وهي باكستان التي فرح بظهورها بعد نضال طويل فرحًا شديدًا معتبرا ذلك نصرًا للإسلام الذي قضى حياته مجاهدًا في سبيله، كما اعتبرها هدية عصرنا إلى التاريخ الإسلامي، ناهيك عن فرح المسلمين بنشأتها وعطفهم عليها وانتصارهم لقضاياها. الكلمات المفتاحية: محب الدين الخطيب؛ الهند؛ باكستان؛ المهاتما غاندي؛ محمد علي جناح. The issue of Pakistan’s independence from India, to wich he dedicated great interest in his writings. Summary: Moheb El Dine El Khateeb is counted among the greatest arab and muslim thinkers and writers, who were interested in their matters such as: Indeed, he firstly, fought by the mean of his pen for the independence of India, then he turned to calling for the creation of the State of Pakistan for the muslims, out of the Indian sub continent, because of the horrendous massacres committed against the Muslims and the aggressions against their sacred believes. The Mahatma Ghandi and the Indian congress party turned towards Hindu orientations, but he followed the pace of the Islamic Union and its leader Mohamed Ali Jinnah, in order to defend Islam and Muslims in India and to call for the establishment of a State for them, Namely, Pakistan, rejoicing when it emerged, after a long lasting fight and, he considered it as a victory for Islam, for the sake of which he spent his entire life combating. He also considered it as the gift of our era to the Islamic history, without mentioning the gladness of Muslims after its creation, their empathy for it and the defence of its issues.
