تهدف هذه الورقة لمناقشة موضوع مهم في الساحة الدولية و هو التنافس الأمريكي الروسي في سوريا، خاصة بعد الأحداث التي شهدتها سوريا منذ شهر مارس 2011، و التي تصاعدت حدتها لتصل إلى نزاع داخلي مسلح، و قد أدت هذه الأزمة إلى بروز تناقض كبير في المصالح بين الولايات المتحدة و روسيا و هو ما جسده وقوف كل منهما إلى جانب أحد أطراف النزاع السوري، و العمل على توفير كل أشكال الدعم الداخلي و الخارجي من أجل تحقيق أهدافه الإستراتيجية، و بذلك فإن كل هذه الأمور أثرت بشكل كبير على ما يجري في سوريا من أحداث و جعلت إمكانية الحل مرهونة بمدى توافق الرؤى بين القوى الكبرى خاصة الولايات المتحدة و روسيا. This document aims to discuss the subject of the US and Russian rivalry in Syria, notably after the events witnessed in Syria since March 2011, which intensity escalated to an internal armed conflict.This crisis led to the emergence of a great conflict of interests between the United States and Russia, and this was demonstrated by the stand of each of them to the side of one of the parties in the Syrian conflict, and working to provide all forms of internal and external support in order to achieve its strategic objectives. Such all these matters, greatly affected the events occurring in Syria, made the possibility of a solution depends on the compatibility of visions between the major powers, especially the United States of America and Russia.
