The Family and Society Journal is an International Bi-annual refereed journal published by our National Laboratory for Scientific Research “Family, Development, Prevention of Delinquency and Criminality - University of Algiers 2 Abou El Kacem Saad Allah, issued twice a year in three languages (Arabic, English and French). It is an open access for all researchers and readers to all articles in the journal, and it is free to read and download immediately and permanently. It is a specialized journal that welcomes and encourages various contributions from experts, researchers and doctoral students with original and high quality scientific research from all countries around the world in different university specialties and research centers. It is concerned with all subjects related to family issues and sustainable development in all fields: social, psychological, health, educational, legal, economic, cultural, media, technological, religious and environmental related to : children, women, youth, adolescents, people with special needs and the elderly , by revealing the reality and problems of families and individuals, knowing their renewed needs, promoting the rights of all groups, improving their well-being regardless of their gender, age and culture, and activating the values of citizenship to build a civilized behavior inside and outside the family in order to face contemporary challenges for families and societies. This Journal opens up new horizons for research, detection, thinking and prevention of social pathologies in order to achieve the well-being and security of the family and society in line with the various contemporary changes that the world is witnessing. It is also related with the two important projects that we have established at the national level: 1- the laboratory “Family, Development, Prevention of Delinquency and Criminality. 2- The two new specialties at the Master's L.M.D level (Family Sociology, Childhood and Social Care) and PhD L.M.D level (Sociology of Family and Social Work). The Journal helps to innovate contemporary practical mechanisms in Education, Prevention and Sustainable Development through original and field scientific research, and communication and current technological achievements in order to guide social and economic policies.

الملخص: تعتبر الصحة المدرسية احد اهم الجوانب التي اصبحت تحظى بالاهتمام من اجل الارتقاء بالتعليم و تحسين التحصيل الدراسي للمتمدرسين وهذا بالمحافظة على صحتهم من جوانب عديدة كالاهتمام بالبيئة المدرسية التي تتطلب تكاثف الجهود بين جميع الفاعلين فيها خاصة المعلم الذي يعتبر محور اساسي فيها نظرا لموقعه الذي يخول له التفاعل المباشر مع المتمدرسين إذ لا يتوقف دوره في تقديم المقررات الدراسية فحسب بل يتعدى حدود ذلك الى ترسيخ جملة من المبادئ التربوية و التثقيفية التي من شانها رفع وعي المتمدرسين بامور عديدة تجعل منهم نقطة تحول ذات نوعية في المجتمع . نظرا لأهمية المدرسة و بالأخص المعلم في الحفاظ على البيئة سنحاول من خلال هذا العمل الاقتراب من المدرسة لمعرفة إلى أي مدى استطاعت أن تساهم في ترسيخ قيم التربية البيئية للمتمدرسين ؟ وهل هناك استراتيجية معتمدة لترسيخ قيم التربية البيئية ؟ و إن كانت ،كيف يبادر المعلم في ترسيخها للتلاميذ ؟ وفي الأخير سنحاول تقديم بعض المقترحات لتفعيل فكرة المدرسة البيئية . Abstract: School health is one of the most important aspects that are receiving attention to improve education and increase the academic achievements of pupils. This is by protecting their health from many sides like caring about the school environment which requires all the performers in it to consolidate their efforts, especially the teacher who is regarded as a key factor because of his position that allows him to interact directly with pupils, as his role does not stop in providing courses only, but it goes beyond the limits of that to establish a number of educational principles that raise pupils' awareness in many things making them a turning point of quality in society. Due to the importance of school, especially the teacher in preserving the environment, we will try through this study to approach the school and see to what extent it can contribute in consolidating the values of environmental education for pupils? Is there an adopted strategy to consolidate the values of environmental education? And if so, how does the teacher take initiative to establish it for the pupils? Finally, we will try to make some suggestions to activate the idea of an environmental school.
