Environmental Dimension Of Corporate Social Responsibility (case Study Of Toyota Company)

Abstract

Developments in the world have led to the emergence of corporate social responsibility concept. This concept consists of a number of dimensions that many researchers have tried to study and restrict, while encouraging organizations to adopt them, especially the environmental dimension. The study highlights the environmental dimension of corporate social responsibility with the case study of Toyota as one of the largest organizations in the world on the one hand and the nature of its productive activity that polluting the environment on the other hand. The study concluded that there is a possibility for organizations to adopt various dimensions of social responsibility, including the environmental dimension, by reducing the negative practices towards the environment and turning them into policies that protect it. With the registration of several plans and programs implemented by Toyota in the environmental field and the succeeded in considering the awards received.
