الملخص

Abstract The study aimed to identify the degree of educational media practicing its role in the Algerian and Palestinian societies from the perspective of university professors. To achieve the goal, the researchers used the survey method for its relevance to the subject of the study. Therefore, the researchers prepared a questionnaire consisted of (24) items as a tool for gathering the data. It applied on an intentional sample of (26) professors, that represented (65%) of the study population. The most important results are: 1- The degree of educational media practicing its role in the Algerian and Palestinian societies from the perspective of university professors was largely, and the relative weight was (68.4%). 2- There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05 ≥α) between the mean estimates of the views of respondents about the degree of educational media in the Algerian and Palestinian societies, due to the study variables of (gender - university- scientific degree - years in the field). Overall, the study indicates the need to approve philosophy, vision and mission of a clearly defined Algerian, Palestinian and Arab educational media, taking into consideration the objectives and areas of educational media in order to promote it. As well as, the importance of developing strategic and operational plans for the practicing educational media activities in the light of its specific goals. In addition to the importance of coordination and integration between the media organizations and educational institutions in order to employ education in media and employ media in education.
