الملخص
Abstract Short stories are among the most important and favorite literary works that considerably anticipate kids’ interests. They remain among the first, if not the unique, priorities that kids want to have despite the abundance of other types of books. Childhood is undoubtedly considered as the formative period of kids’ personalities; it’s the chief stage that can shape the minds of kids through careful instructions that go hand in hand with their degree of understanding. At younger ages, the short story can incredibly contribute to the mindset and maturity of kids; it’s an effective linguistic tool to develop their mental abilities, their behaviors, their communicative skills and many other faculties. It is therefore a vital tool to enrich their cultural knowledge, which might contribute to their imagination and creativity.
