الملخص
ABSTRACT: This research is primarily concerned with the system of entitlement and the way it is related to the novel's narrative discourse. We have chosen, for this purpose,two novels of the Algerian novelist Merzak Bektache: (Touyourou Adahira) _ "Afrer Noon Birds" and :( El Bouzet) _ "Falcons". To deal with the poetics of entitlement and its system in the chosen corpus of our study ,we have made use of Gerard Genett's book "seuils" in which he dealt with the subject of the textual threshold and its relationship to the meaning of the text and this within his book "Palimpsestes" in which he presents his conception of the textual transcendences,and thus the second transcendence:the paratext. Thanks to this study we may conclude that: 1-Merzak Bektache used titles condensed with connotations closely related to the texts. 2-The system of entitlement has a strong relationship with the novels'texts. 3-The titles of the novels dealt with in this research were the way leading to the texts and provided an overview of their subjects. 4-These titles are closely related to the Algerian society and refer to it.
